All of the major areas of one’s relocation are taken care of and these are:
Open file and Coordinate
– Once your file has been opened it will be assigned to one of our expert Relocation & Immigration Associates who will contact you shortly afterwards to introduce themselves.
Airport Pickup
– The Transferee and their family can be met at the airport by our Local Counselor and accompanied to their accommodation.
Acclimatization Kit
– All of our relocation programs include an in-depth Acclimatization kit, which include vital and vetted information regarding the city in which you are going to live.
Neighborhood Focus Tour
– In order to give our Transferees an idea as to the different neighborhoods that they can choose from based on their housing, work and school requirements, we escort them to see several potential neighborhoods to choose from.
House Search
– Soon after your file has been open, your Relocation & Immigration Associate will send you a Property Analysis Form to decipher your needs, requirements and budget. Based on this information a property search program will be put together containing properties that correspond to the information that you provided in the Property Analysis Form.
Property Contract Negotiation
– A member of our in-house legal team will review your property lease to make sure that it is accordance with Italian law and that it serves your best interests.
Property Assessment and Cataloging Of Contents
– This is an essential part of the relocation process. One of our Local Counselors meets with the Transferee and the owner of the property to inspect the state of the apartment/house and to catalogue all its contents, taking note of any existing damage. This process will assist in obtaining the deposit paid back smoothly.
360° Destination Service®
– As part of this aspect of the relocation process we assist the Transferee with any services that they require in order to render their relocation more comfortable. Such services include: Cable/Satellite TV, car/house insurance, and language courses.
Set-up Utilities
– Your Relocation Associate will take care of setting up all the major utilities such as gas, electric and phone, which includes an ADSL line.
Open Bank Account
– We assist the Transferee to open a bank account in their name.
Garbage Tax
– This is a very important tax to pay in Italy and your Relocation & Immigration Associate will coordinate this.
Automobile Purchase
– Your Relocation & immigration Associate will assist you also with the purchasing or leasing of an automobile.
16 Extra Hours of Face-To-Face Assistance
– You can decide how you would like to utilize these additional hours. E.g. shopping or assistance with any challenges you may encounter.
Tax Code
– This is the equivalent of the UK’s National Insurance Number or the USA’s Social Security Number and is essential for working and living in Italy.
Medical Card
– Even though you may have private medical insurance, it is definitely advisable to also register for the Italian National Health Service in order to have a family doctor and to receive free or reduced prescriptions.
International Schools
– Your Relocation & immigration Associate will coordinate and set up accompanied visits to international schools that correspond to your needs and requirements.
150-Day Telephone Assistance
– From the time you enter your new home, you will also have a period of 150 days of telephone assistance in which you call freely call your Relocation & Immigration Associate for assistance regarding light issues. Any assistance requiring face-to-face time with a Local Counselor will be billed as an extra service.
